Promotion
Although Warner did not want to go to war originally, he did well within his means. These papers talk of Truman Warner’s promotion from Second to First Lieutenant in the United States Medical Corps. It talks of his accomplishments within his position of Second Lieutenant and how he deserved to be placed further ahead in his career as a medic. Warner would receive his promotion, as Colonial Higgins signed it on March 8, 1945. This promotion is valid proof that no matter what obstacle Warner was faced with in his life, he was able to find his own way to succeed and persevere.
