Nostalgia Themed Menus
Nostalgic images in menus were (and are still) common - especially utilization of imagery from around the 1890s: "[Nostalgia] signifies a bittersweet longing for home (Holak and Havlena 1992), it is considered an emotional state in which an individual yearns for an idealized or sanitized version of an earlier time period."
