Abstract

Item in good condition. Jorge E. Espinosa Carrizales is a Mexican artist of landscapes, born in Mexico City in 1942. He studied under the direction of maestro Miguel Angel Oropeza and originated a technique he calls "PlasticOleo". His Mexican landscape paintings utilize a technique combining the spatula and brush.

Mexican painter, born in Mexico City, DF, in 1942, he studied painting under the direction of the teacher Miguel Angel Oropeza. At the same time, he studied violin at the National School of Music of the UNAM. His interest in the Plastic Arts led him to discover his technique that he calls “Plasticóleo”, based on acrylics and oil with a pointillism finish. To date, he creates Mexican landscapes in oil with a technique that combines the spatula and the brush. In recognition of his artistic quality, he has had the opportunity to exhibit his work in museums, science centers and planetariums in various parts of the world. Independently of the scientific exhibitions, he has presented individual and collective exhibitions in Mexico, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Panama, Colombia, the United States, Germany, Australia, Japan, South Africa and Paris. “To know the hidden depths of the intangible universe, we will have to open the doors of the marvelous temple of the imagination” Jorge Espinosa C.
