Views on Women and Feminism
Dr. Keeler herself was a strong, focused woman. She lectured on religion.
Suffrage
Beginning in 1893, Connecticut allowed women to vote for school officials. Dr. Keeler registered to vote on September 25, 1893.
Dr. Keeler also voted in the 1920 general election, the first in which Connecticut women were allowed to vote for all offices.
