Halcyon Gilbert Bailey was involved in a number of lawsuits, ranging from a conservatorship case questioning his ability to handle money (1864) to a foreclosure following his bankruptcy (1878). His wife filed two separate petitions for divorce and his shenanigans lead to all sorts of troubles.
