- abstract
- The Works of Shakespeare by William Shakespeare and Charles Knight is a collection of works by William Shakespeare. This work was not the first edition however; it was made with the idea that it would resemble the look of a bible. Which shows that Charles Knight thought very highly of William Shakespeare. This is on our shelf because It is in very good condition and Shakespeare was a very profound figure in history and he is very well liked.
- Archive's Assistant Note: Charles Knight thought Very highly of William Shakespeare and made his works into beautiful editions that many people can witness. I agree with Knight that Shakespere's writing style and works are groundbreaking.
