Scope and Content Note
This is a small collection of newspapers and clippings which document life in the western Connecticut area and major world events over the last 150 years. Items appear to have been collected based on their age, local interest or by the events covered. Most of the newspapers in this collection are quite brittle but appear to be complete copies. Of interest are issues of the
Jeffersonian from 1865 and an 1847 issue of the Danbury News.
