The Alfredo de Palchi and Sona Raiziss Papers contain correspondence between de Palchi and Raiziss and with others, concerning their writings, the literary journal Chelsea, and literary prizes; poems, other writings, and English translations of Italian poetry by de Palchi and Raiziss; writings by others, mostly Italian poetry translated into English by Raiziss and de Palchi, published by them in Chelsea, or submitted for literary prizes sponsored by them; clippings and other printed material relating to writings of de Palchi and Raiziss, and to other poets; biographical information about Raiziss and scrapbooks of ephemera relating to her early life and education at the University of Pennsylvania and Cornell University, 1920s; a few audiocassettes and videocassettes relating to poets and poetry readings; and a small amount of photographs and drawings. Research strengths include poetry by de Palchi and Raiziss; translation of Italian poetry into English by them and others; their editorship of Chelsea; other 20th-century Italian poets and their translators; the Academy of American Poets and the Raiziss/de Palchi Fellowship; and the Bordighera Poetry Prize.

Brigman, Anne, 1869-1950
Contains photographs, writings, and printed material documenting the work of Anne Brigman. Included among the papers are four paste-up copies of Brigman's book of photography and poetry, Songs of a Pagan and one paste-up copy of her second book, Wild Flute Songs. The papers also contain early typescript drafts of Songs of a Pagan, clippings on Brigman, exhibition notices and flier, and other printed material.

Lauterbach, Ann, 1942-
The Ann Lauterbach Papers document the personal and professional life of American poet Ann Lauterbach and consist of correspondence, writings, printed material, and audiovisual material. The papers contain a number of drafts of Lauterbach's writings from early in her career until roughly 2000. Her correspondence reflects her intellectual circle with correspondents including writers and artists: Stacy Doris, Kenward Gray Elmslie, Richard Hamilton, Susan Howe, Garrett Kalleberg, Ron Padgett, Peter Straub, Marjorie Welish, and Chet Wiener. The papers also contain material relating to Lauterbach's family members including her father, war correspondent Richard Lauterbach.

The Arthur Davison Ficke Papers document the personal lives and literary interests of Arthur Davison and Gladys Brown Ficke. Major correspondents include Witter Bynner, Floyd Dell, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Edgar Lee Masters, and John Cowper Powys. In addition to manuscripts of Ficke's own works, the papers contain manuscripts of poems by Witter Bynner, Edgar Lee Masters, and others.

The Barbara Howes papers contain writings, correspondence, personal and financial papers, and photographs documenting the life and literary career of American poet and editor Barbara Howes. The collection includes extensive files on all of Howes's book-length publications and many manuscripts and typescripts of individual poems, short stories and articles; her correspondence with her family, particularly with her mother and her husband, the poet William Jay Smith; and letters from a wide circle of literary friends and colleagues, including Leonie Adams, Elizabeth Bishop, Malcolm Cowley, Denise Levertov, James Merrill, W. S. Merwin, Katherine Anne Porter, Theodore Roethke, and Richard Wilbur.
