The Thomas A. Stevens collection contains a variety of types of materials collected by Stevens that reflect his wide-ranging interests in maritime and Connecticut history. The collection is comprised of, but not limited to, correspondence, logbooks, journals, accounts, bills of lading, drawings, tickets, manifests, cargo lists, custom lists and forms, registers and enrollments.

Family records from a Bible starting with Samuel G. Braman's birth in 1801. Baptism certificates from St. Michael's church, Litchfield, Conn. for Samuel Gager Braman in 1836, Caroline Maria Braman in 1834, William Edward Hooker in 1866. Also certificates for William E. Hooker as Deacon in Calvary church in Syracuse, NY.

The St. Michael's Parish Vital Records collection (2011-108-0) is comprised of two volumes of transcripts. The first volume ranges from 1757-1870 and covers burials (separated by race), communicants, confirmations, deaths (separated by race), and marriages (separated by race). The second volume covers only baptisms from the years 1750-1867. Each volume is organized alphabetically, not chronologically. The records give the name of the person and the date of whatever service they received.

This collection is primarily comprised of letters written from Stone to his wife and daughter during his service in the Union army during the Civil War.

The Stoughton family papers (1776-1989) consist of correspondence, genealogical materials, press clippings, and other documents related to members of the Stoughton family and homes on Main Street South Windsor, CT.

Collection includes primary and secondary material collected by town historian Jim Streeter related to the history of Groton. Material documents families, structures, neighborhoods, businesses, industries and transport through public records, business and personal papers, photographs, maps and three-dimensional artifacts.

The Martha Dwight Sturdevant Friendship Album (2010-379-0) is a bound album signed by Martha Denison's friends and fellow students at the Litchfield Female Academy circa 1821.
