The Manchester Evening Herald clippings and photograph collection contains materials related to people and organizations in South Windsor, CT, and the surrounding area. Topics include engagement and wedding announcements, politics, crime, business, and accidents. Approximately half of the folders include photographic prints or negatives. Most of these are portraits or publicity-type photos that were printed in the newspapers. Also includes material from the Manchester Herald, Hartford Courant, and Hartford Times.

Books and poems by author Patricia Hubbell. The collection contains more than a dozen of Hubbell's works, as well as correspondence, notes, manuscrips, and dummies produced during her career.

The collection consists of an almost complete set of the 1915 valuation series of the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad done by the railroad for the Interstate Commerce Committee to account for its right-of-way and the property it owned throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, eastern New York and New York City, and Rhode Island. The valuation maps give important historical information about the property purchased by the railroad, some from as early as the 1830s. This Collection details Marian Thompson’s experiences and recollections during her enlistment in the Vietnam War. The Collection contains an excerpt from Colonel Marian Thompson’s memoirs. The partial manuscript provides evidence of American “black outs” during World War II, working conditions for women during the 1940’s and 1950’s, U.S. Army enlistment incentives, and collaborative therapy programs between Japan and Vietnam, among other topics.

The personal papers of the Oswald Marrin family. Materials include documents relating to the Litchfield County Hounds and Spring Hill School Reunion (1991). Also included are contracts and correspondence related to construction projects and incorporation documentation of the Litchfield Water Company (1889-1965), notes taken during talks on lace (1913), photographs, a playbill related to the Litchfield Summer Theater, and lace patterns.
