Joseph A. Bost collection of UTC Fuel Cell papers contains materials relating to the design, manufacture, and use of spacecraft fuel cells produced at the UTC Power facility in South Windsor. The materials comprise photographs, company memoranda and internal documents, blueprints and technical drawings, several printed and bound publications, NASA and UTC publications, and assorted small items and artifacts relating to United States manned spaceflight from the Apollo period through the late Shuttle period, roughly 1966-2001.

This book is a hybrid sketchbook-scrapbook that contains many wonderfully detailed color and monotone watercolor, pen, and pencil depictions of encampment sites, battle scenes, landscapes, and buildings that were witnessed and unofficially recorded by Corporal Shadek during his tour of duty in the Burnside expedition through the Southeast (1861-1862). Each watercolor is carefully labeled with dates and place names so that the sketches themselves provide a chronicle of the Eighth Connecticut Volunteers, Company A's (8CV, Co. A) travels in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina.

The material is bound in 26 volumes numbered 1-22 and 24-27, with most volumes containing a manuscript list of contents presumably prepared by a former owner.

Collection consists of records compiled by Joseph L. Zazyczny related to American Council for Polish Culture (ACPC). Mr. Joseph Zazyczny was the ACPC president from 1987-1989. The bulk of the material covers the years 1984-1989. It includes also materials from annual state conventions, as well as extensive correspondence and documentation of the Washington project, which was a major undertaking of the council in 1980's that went well into 1990's. The main goal of the Washington project was to establish ACPC presence in Washington to promote Polish culture on the national and international level. The collection also includes information about affiliated members and their activities.
