Diaries, a farm ledger, poems, hymns and correspondence. The diary entries cover the years 1828-1853 and are interspersed with copies of Gilyard family letters from England (1808-1818) together with fifty-five pages of recipes for dyes. Many of the diary entries concern the Methodist Church of which Gilyard was a trustee for some thirty years. The farm ledger (1835-1845) records farm activities and the sale of farm produce.

The album consists of photographs of buildings and grounds of Yale and New Haven, Connecticut taken on February 23, 1913. It documents Joy L. Leonard's (Yale 1911) guided tour of New Haven, accompanied by Charlotte Marsh, for his guests Lucy Harris and James Roberts of New York City. Leonard later gave the album to his guests as a souvenir of their trip. Of particular note are images of the Sheffield Scientific School campus, the athletic fields in Westville, Old Campus and its environs, the New Haven Green, and a fold-out map of the city, with annotations.

This record group consists of of legal documents relevant to court action, including, but not limited to, dockets, formal decisions, rules, appointments, judges' notes and opinions, indexes, case files, record books, executions, reports, and administrative papers, as well as materials from related entities such as the State Bar Examining Committee and Coroners and Medical Examiners. The records date from 1636 to the late 20th century, with the bulk from the 17th through the 19th century. Most extant state court records prior to 1870 are in the State Archives along with a substantial volume of municipal and justice court records. Record Group 003 also includes probate records including wills, inventories, bonds, administration reports, etc. until 1698, when the General Assembly established the separate probate court system. See record group 004 for Records of the Probate Court. The records of the Judicial Department include colony and statewide materials for the Particular Court, 1639-65; Court of Assistants, 1665-1711; Superior Court, 1711-1879; and Supreme Court of Errors, 1784-1901. The bulk of the records, however, are arranged by county and consist of papers of county courts, courts of common pleas, superior courts, supreme courts of errors, and maritime courts. Denavit, published in 2014, and signed by both editors on April 15, 2015.

The interview was conducted at the Yale Center for British art between March 1 and June 26, 2013. In it, Prown discusses his family, education, and time as Director of the Center. Prown edited the interview and wrote a brief introduction, which is included in this manuscript.
