The Sylvia Daniels Harding (1911-1997) papers include her personal and many Harding, Ely, and Daniels family papers. Included are her own and her mother's diaries; photographs and vintage postcards of local sites and community life in late 19th and early 20th century Lyme — domestic life, farming, dairying, shad fishing, fur trapping, and the raw fur business, one-room schools, church, Grange, Sylvia's community work, organization memberships, and folk art "needle painting".

The Olga Rudge Papers document many aspects of Rudge's personal life and professional activities. There are 32 boxes of letters between Ezra Pound and Rudge. Other major correspondents include Mary de Rachewiltz, James Laughlin, George Antheil, Renata Borgatti, conte Guido Chigi Saracini, Cyril Connolly, T. S. Eliot, Egerton Grey, Desmond O'Grady, D. D. Paige, Ildebrando Pizzetti, Dorothy Pound, and Adrian Stokes. The papers also contain daily notebooks kept by Rudge from 1966 on; a variety of personal and financial papers; printed material collected by Rudge; and documentation of her musical career, including autograph scores by George Antheil, Tibor Serly, and Julia Perry.

Dr. Herbert Parker Lansdale III, known as H. Parker Lansdale or simply Parker, was born in Worcester, Maine in1923 and died in 2006 in Milford, Connecticut. From the 1960s into the 1980s, he played an active part in Bridgeport's push for greater access to equity, education, and creating nonprofit social support networks to improve the community. He received a degree from Yale Divinity School after graduating from Oberlin College and eventually ended up working with many of the great social service and education organizations active in Bridgeport, CT, in the 1960s-1980s.

Anti-Nuclear Protests Collection, 1972 - 1984

In the 1970s, Wesleyan University students became active against national nuclear arms polices and practices, especially those in New England. The groups of Wesleyan University students involved were the Committee on Environmental Awareness, Connecticut Citizens Conference, Nuclear Resistance Group and Students Opposed to Nuclear Arms Race. These groups organized campus wide informational meetings, showed films and actively participated in walking onto a nuclear arms site in Seabrook, New Hampshire, on April 30, 1977. Around forty Wesleyan Students, along with other activists, were arrested, and some were convicted of criminal trespass due to the April 30 protest.
