A small collection of newspapers and clippings which document life in the western Connecticut area and major world events over the last 150 years.

Administrative records, publications, and conference records document the work of the National Association of College and University Chaplains. The National Association of College and University Chaplains and Directors of Religious Life (NACUC) is the interfaith professional community of chaplains, rabbis, deans of chapel, and other personnel appointed by academic institutions to be responsible for the religious program of the academic community. It was founded in a national conference convened by Clarence Shedd which met at Yale University in 1948. Since then, NACUC has met annually throughout the country.

This collection details William O’Neill’s military and combat experiences during his enlistment in the Korean War as well as the years following. the collection contains an oral history interview, personal and military documents, photographs and publications. The materials provide evidence of American troop training, combat activity, and enemy engagement. It highlights U.S. military moral and courage and offers insight into William O’Neill’s life prior to his tenure as Governor of Connecticut

Due to Bridgeport's status as the adopted hometown of P.T. Barnum as well as the legacy of the Barnum and Bailey Winter Quarters, the Bridgeport History Center has actively collected circus related material through the years. The material in this collection represents individual acquisitions of handbills, programs, and the like, arranged in an artificial collection.

The papers consist of correspondence, subject files, writings, course materials, and printed material documenting the life and career of economist William N. Parker.

Collection consists of Thomas W. Streeter's annotated copies of sale and exhibition catalogs issued by New York City rare book dealer Edward Eberstadt (1883-1958) and his sons, Lindley and Charles, during their careers as antiquarian booksellers. The collection includes more than 90 catalogs, announcements, and sales lists issued by three businesses-- the Hudson Book Company, Edward Eberstadt, and Edward Eberstadt & Sons-- between 1929 and 1965.

These records document the administrative and program history of the National Student Christian Federation. The NSCF was a Protestant Christian federation of denominational student movements, the Interseminary Movement, and foreign and home mission boards from Protestant churches. It was also the United States member of the World Student Christian Federation, and a related movement to the National Council of Churches in Christ in the U.S.A. The organization was created in 1959 when the Interseminary Movement, the Student Volunteer Movement for Foreign Missions, and the United Student Christian Council merged into one organization with the goal of creating an ecumenical community of concern on the college and university campus. These records include correspondence, meeting minutes, and reports illustrating the work of the NSCF.

The collection contains numerous designs of unknown origin depicting scenes from the traditional Japanese stage. The scenes displayed are derived from Noh (or Nō) dramas, a performance tradition which draws on Buddhist scripture and Japanese mythology and combines music, dance, and poetry in a highly formalized staging.

The Governor's Task Force on Infrastructure was established by Governor William O'Neill in April 1983 with the charge to develop a coordinated response to repair and replace the State's infrastructure of roads, bridges, public buildings, water systems, and the like.

Letters by Rossetti to various parties, including Sir Frederic Burton and Frederic James Shields, along with one letter from Charles Augustus Howell to Rossetti. One manuscript by Rossetti: "At Wellington's Funeral. 18th November 1852," an autograph receipt, and a deck of playing cards painted by Rossetti at the age of 12.
