The records consist of correspondence, memoranda, and reports documenting the activities and operations of the Yale University Alumni Board. Topics include alumni fund convocations, football games, cocktail parties, reunions, and finances.

The Davison Art Center, housed in the 1839 Alsop House, comprises exhibition galleries, classrooms, offices, and the university’s collection of prints and photographs. The Art Center and much of its collection was the gift of George W. (Wesleyan class of 1892) and Harriet Baldwin Davison.

Robert A. LaMay is a collector of railroad publications and memorabilia and a photographer of railroad locomotives and scenes, particularly those of southern New England and the New York City area. His papers include timetables, guides, brochures, and other items collected by Mr. LaMay as well as photographic prints, slides and negatives of railroad images taken by him of locomotives and scenes associated with the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad, Penn Central, Conrail, Amtrak, Metro-North Commuter Railroad, Shore Line East and other railroad lines in the United States.

Mary A. (Milner) Deming was a graduate of UConn and former Associate Club Agent of New Haven County. In January 1953, Mary Deming began contributing to the "4-H Club Activies" column in the Danbury News-Times. These are clippings of her column up until 1964 with some gaps.

The papers include include correspondence, writings, research data, notes, memorabilia, and photographs, which document Dorothy Horstmann's years at the Yale School of Medicine as a bio-medical researcher and teacher. The papers highlight her accomplishments in understanding and controlling the transmission of poliomyelitis and rubella.

Chartered in 1974, representing machinists at United Aircraft's Pratt and Whitney plant in North Haven, Connecticut. Originally organized as the United Automobile Workers Local 1234 in 1952.

In 1898, the English Sewing Company of England purchases the Willimantic Linen Company and other New England mills and form the American Thread Company. The Willimantic mill was closed when the company moved to North Carolina in 1985.
