A children's story about a king who attempts to reach the moon by way of a tower of boxes. Written in pen and black ink, in the hand of Shirley Smith (and with his ink stamp at the head of the first leaf).

35mm slides of mixed media collages to illustrate the story of "The tower of boxes." The slides are numbered in pen and black ink. Several are also inscribed with the title, and two are inscribed "Dennis Dobson pbr." Shirley Smith illustrated several works published by Dobson in the mid-1960s, but there is no evidence that "The tower of boxes" was ever published.
