The collection consists of newspaper clippings, press releases, programs, planning documents, photographs, and recordings pertaining to convocations, commencements, and other University hosted events (primarily speakers, lectures, conferences, and other ceremonies) from 1957 to the present. The collection is not exhaustive and information pertaining to events may be found in other collections.

Records in this collection contain a combination of programs from the festivals, newspaper clippings and publicity materials, professional headshots and biographies of the composers, correspondence with guests and the press, and drafts of press releases and program layouts.

The collection consists of annotated programs for performances recorded by the Hartt Recording Studio as well as a number of the recordings. The annotations primarily provide the identification number(s) of the corresponding analog recordings, as well as corrections or changes to the printed program and the start and stop times of different portions of the performances on the recordings.

These folio size scrapbooks contain an extensive collection of newspaper clippings documenting how the university was treated by the press for three decades as well as advertising campaigns in newspapers and publications created by the University. Finally, the collection also contains University publications such as leaflets, pamphlets, brochures, and booklets.

The collection contains minutes, brochures, concert programs, photographs, accreditation/self-study reports, and other material documenting the Hartt School Community Division.

This collection contains material concerning the Lincoln Institute and other related organizations.
