H B Whipple writes to Cornelia E. Boardman to thank her for her sympathy. Notes that he would answer her about personal matters but that it would be a long story that would weary her. Goes on to say that although he meant well with his Colorado experiment, it turned out "wholy bad." Asks her not to worry about his health and reports that Mrs. Whipple is fairly well. Also notes that he has duplicates speeches of the Indians and "our report" and asks her to show the to the bishop if he wishes to see them.
