Research materials, correspondence and other papers, photographs, and additional materials by and about the life of Lynne Templeton Brickley (1940-2019), an independent historian who served as a consultant for several prize-winning exhibitions at the Litchfield Historical Society. A resident of Litchfield, CT, since 1968, Brickley was president and trustee of the Litchfield Historical Society, an active member of the Litchfield Garden Club and the Litchfield Democratic Town Committee, and a board member of the Litchfield Preservation Trust and the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation.

The Webster family papers include Arethusa Farm records, ledgers, calendars, and postcards; documentation of a 1952 transcontinental trip to Alaska; and Litchfield photos and ephemera. Most of the family papers are from the 1870s through the 1920s.

An army officer, chief intelligence officer, and organizer of the Culper spy ring during the Revolutionary War, Tallmadge became a businessman and U.S. Representative from Connecticut in Congress after the war.

These records appear to complement other Litchfield County judicial records found in the Litchfield Historical Society's collections and the Litchfield County Court records held by the Connecticut State Archives.

The 17th Regiment Orderly Book (2011-89-0) was maintained from May 1, 1816 to Sept 3, 1827. The book contains general rolls which start May 1, 1816 and end May 7, 1827. The rolls list every member of the regiment that year, when they joined, and reason for removals from the regiment. There are a few orders at the end of the book.
