The Guilford Smith Memorial Library exists to serve the informational, recreational, and inspirational needs of the village of South Windham and residents of the surrounding area. Historical collections housed at the library include antique books, documents, letters, photographs, maps, and other historical artifacts. The library accepts and preserves historical items relevant to the history of South Windham, especially pertaining to the Smith family and the Winchester Smith Manufacturing Company.
