The collection documents the activities of the Polish American Arts Association in Washington DC area from 2000 till 2009. It contains minutes, treasurer reports, correspondence, flyers, and anniversary pamphlets covering these years. Newsletters were removed from the collection and placed with the Polish-American periodicals collection within the Connecticut Polish American Archives (CPAA). The collection also contains the American Council of Polish Cultural Clubs convention program booklet from June 14-18, 1967, which was hosted by the Polish American Arts Association of Washington DC. Other related material to various social events and related documentation is also a part of the collection.

The collection consists of administrative records, which includes correspondence, minutes of meetings, bylaws, programs, membership lists, clippings and photographs. Financial records include fundraising campaigns, donations, bequests, bank statements, list of donors, and related documents and correspondence.

The bulk of the material relates to Stanislaus A. Blejwas presidency of the PAC CT. This collection includes material before and after Dr. Blejwas' tenure as District of Connecticut President. Material consists of correspondence, photos, meeting agendas and minutes, newsletters, and newspaper articles. The dates range from 1982-1991.

The collection includes records of several non-profit organizations that supported and lobbied for the Polish underground Solidarity movement in addition to personal papers of Ewa Slusarek. Solidarity support organizations operated in the US and Western Europe between 1982 and 1989. Material was donated by Ewa Slusarek who was active in Solidarity International, Solidarity Support Committee of Rhode Island, and worldwide Conference of Solidarity Support Organizations. Material includes correspondence, press releases, statements, minutes, membership lists, financial records, legal documents, news clippings, and speeches. There are also some records pertaining to the Rhode Island Polish American community.

The Collection contains materials related to the Solidarity International Connecticut Chapter, one of the many American and Western European grass-root organizations that supported Polish underground Solidarity movement and operated between 1982 and 1989. Solidarity International initiatives documented in this collection include media campaigns, political lobbying and fundraising, erection of the Popieluszko Human Rights Monument in New Britain, CT, and the donation of a Mercedes-Benz van for Lech Walesa. The collection also includes documents from the International Human Rights Conference in Krakow, Poland in 1988 and Mr. Chotkowski's meeting with Lech Walesa, as well as materials related to his involvement in several American anti-communist or pro-democracy organizations targeting other regions of the world. Materials include correspondence, financial records, press releases, clippings, statements, programs, minutes, audiotapes, video, a medal, and a model of the Popieluszko monument.

The collection consists of audio tapes with interviews and transcriptions. It includes hundreds of clippings from mostly Polish and Polish American press related to immigration in 1980's. Interviews are in English and clippings in Polish, except a few from the English language periodicals.

This collection documents the activities of Elizabeth Wasiutynski related to the Coordinating Office of NSZZ Solidarność, the Polish American Congress, and other Solidarity support organizations, as well as the North American Study Center for Polish Affairs STUDIUM.

Collection includes extensive correspondence, reports and memos from the coordinating office in Brussels, press releases, various Solidarity publications abroad, clippings, pamphlets, and information about contacts with other Solidarity groups and offices abroad. It covers the years that the Solidarity Office operated, from 1981 through 1990.

The collection consists of correspondence, minutes, newsletters, programs, pamphlets and photographs documenting club activities. It includes extensive collection of clippings related to club activities and other activities related to Poland and Polonia on the local and national level.
