The material in this collection consists of documents related to Mr. Raczkowski's participation in World War I with the American Army in France. Collection includes related clippings, photographs and biographical notes from his wife Anna Raczkowski.

Alfred F. Bochenek was very active in the American Council of Polish Cultural Clubs for almost three decades, from the 1970s until the 1990s. The collection contains papers from annual conventions, correspondence, constitution and by-laws, and membership lists. Material in this collection complements related records from other collections donated by various individuals who were active in the organization. Because of the name change of the organization in 1988, folder descriptions have both names ACPCC (American Council of Polish Cultural Clubs) and ACPC (American Council for Polish Culture), but this is still the same organization.

This collection contains reports, press clippings and photographs related to the US Congressional Committee holding hearings on the Katyn Forest Massacre in Frankfurt, Germany in 1952.

The collection consists of memoirs written by Andrew Beck for his family and friends. It covers years in prewar Poland till 2008. Collection also consists of a CD with the Polish television program about Jozef Beck, the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs before the WW II. The television program includes archival footage and interviews with various people who knew Minister Jozef Beck personally. The collection also includes biographical information about Waclaw Jedrzejewicz, father-in-law of Andrew Beck.

Material in the collection partially illustrates the history and evolution of the association. The first bound volume of minutes, written in Polish, is dated from 1946 to 1971. Additional minutes are arranged by date together with correspondence; other documents related to major events and projects organized by the Association are also arranged by date. Material related to significant events like Poland's Millennium of Christianity is arranged separately. Collection also includes a copy of a constitution, mailing lists, sermons, a typescript of publication related to the history of the association entitled "An Interpretive History" by Rev. T. Mierzwinski (1971, 45 pp.), and several photo albums from various events. Material is arranged in 3 series: Series I: Minutes and correspondence; Series II: Poland's Millennium of Christianity and other anniversaries; Series III: History, constitution and activities.

The collection consists of personal notes and photographs of Mr. Bronislaw Krzyzewski. Personal notes include dates of his travel during WWI and text of polish religious and patriotic songs. Collection also includes some family information and handwritten notes on family members.

The collection includes memoirs on CD and articles in hard copy. Memoirs on CD are divided in three parts. The first part starts with his deportation to Siberia and living situation in labor camp; second part includes enlistment in the Polish Army that was organized in the Soviet Union till the end of WWII; the third part includes description of his short stay in England, immigration to the US and establishment of life in New Jersey. Collection also includes articles about the battle of Monte Cassino written by Mr. Gieniewski.

This collection has material related to the history of local Connecticut Polonia. It contains anniversary publications, photographs, and pamhlets from local organizations.

This collection documents the activities of Elizabeth Wasiutynski related to the Coordinating Office of NSZZ Solidarność, the Polish American Congress, and other Solidarity support organizations, as well as the North American Study Center for Polish Affairs STUDIUM.

The collection includes records of several non-profit organizations that supported and lobbied for the Polish underground Solidarity movement in addition to personal papers of Ewa Slusarek. Solidarity support organizations operated in the US and Western Europe between 1982 and 1989. Material was donated by Ewa Slusarek who was active in Solidarity International, Solidarity Support Committee of Rhode Island, and worldwide Conference of Solidarity Support Organizations. Material includes correspondence, press releases, statements, minutes, membership lists, financial records, legal documents, news clippings, and speeches. There are also some records pertaining to the Rhode Island Polish American community.

The collection consists of original letters and envelopes written in Polish by Stefania Szczygłówna to her family members in the United States between 1946 and 1950. Additional materials include genealogical documents such as birth, marriage, and death certificates; family stories shared by relatives; a copy of a 1900 census page; and several photographs of family members.

This collection documents the history of one man and two Polish immigrant families and their descendants over three generations, the Gwiazda and Cieszynski families. The papers contain information on these families' lives as well as local New Britain politics.

The Holy Name Athletic Club collection covers years 1959-1997. Collection contains financial statements, annual reports, board meeting minutes, correspondence, by-laws, membership information, and yearly activities.

The collection consists of: private sociopolitical papers of Ms. Dubicka and her (now deceased) first husband Ted Morawski (IT manager/director at AIAA/IEEE/ABPI); records of Solidarity support organizations; statements pertaining to the political and economic situation in Poland after 1981 openly published by United States Government agencies and the United Nations, as well as other international human rights organizations; records related to STUDIUM (The North American Study Center for Polish Affairs), and the Polish American Congress (PAC); memoirs of Jurek Przybylski, Solidarity activist; Irene's master's thesis from Columbia University on "Solidarity's Evolutionaries" (1984) and her chapter "Solidarity and Determination: Solidarity International, the Group of Delegates, and the Nationwide Resistance Committee (OKO)" (in "Poland's Solidarity Movement," eds. Lawrence Biondi and Frank Mocha; Loyola, 1984).

The collection consists of legal documents of Jan and Elzbieta Merta, who came to the U.S. in 1950 from a refugee camp in Braunschweig, Germany under the Displaced Persons Act. Documents include birth certificates, work permits for foreigners during World War II, certificates from DP's camp, green cards, insurance cards, and photographs.

The Polish Arts League of Pittsburgh was created in 1948 to promote Polish Culture and tradition and to support Polish and American authors, artists, and performers. It is an affiliate of the American Council of Polish Culture (formerly American Council of Polish Cultural Clubs) and twice was a host of its national convention. Over the years it organized numerous concerts, lectures, performances, exhibitions, festivals, etc. It established special scholarship, published monthly newsletter called Palette, conducted educational campaigns, and cooperated with various Polish American organizations. It regularly brought shows from Poland. Twice, in 1953 and 1988, it organized the presentation of Moniuszko's opera "Halka". This collection consists of correspondence, reports, announcements, financial records, constitutions and by-laws, membership lists, newsletter, newspaper clippings, and pamphlets covering the years 1948-1989.

The collection includes personal papers, Polish American Priests Association records, other documents, clippings and correspondence related to Monsignor Wodarski's activities and pastoral appointments. Collection includes also publications from the U.S. and Poland related to the history of Catholic Church and Polish American issues on the national and local level.

American Council for Polish Cultural Clubs (ACPCC) was founded 1948. The ACPCC changed its name to American Council for Polish Culture (ACPC) in the late '80s. Jozef Zazyczny was one of its national directors and in 1986 became president of the organization. The collection consists of records related to ACPC activities from 1970 till 1989, however the bulk of the material covers years 1984-1989 during the intense involvement of Mr. Zazyczny. Material from the conventions includes official publications, related correspondence, various reports, press clippings, and information on convention preparation activities. Material related to the Washington projects illustrates the initial discussions, establishing committee and extensive fundraising efforts for the project, and related correspondence. Remaining material in the collection relates to ACPC involvement with establishing scholarships, organizing concerts and lectures, as well as gaining new members and attracting young members for the organization.

The collection consists of audio tapes with interviews and transcriptions. It includes hundreds of clippings from mostly Polish and Polish American press related to immigration in 1980's. Interviews are in English and clippings in Polish, except a few from the English language periodicals.

The collection consists of photographs of the Sadoski and Karpinski families, who emigrated from Poland to the U.S. and settled in New Britain and surrounding towns in Connecticut. It also includes some genealogical information about both families.

The collection consists of two photographs/post cards with Kosciuszko Squadron pilots taken in 1921 in Poland and send to Mr. Pierson to the US in 1921; and a framed letter from Cedric E. Fauntleroy, with an original emblem of the Kosciuszko Squadron, written in Warsaw, Poland in 1921.

Collection of photographs illustrates activities of Lottie Pozniak and organizations to which she belonged. Printed material consists of Mrs. Pozniak's documents related to Polish and Polish American issues and her active membership in various organizations.

The Collection contains materials related to the Solidarity International Connecticut Chapter, one of the many American and Western European grass-root organizations that supported Polish underground Solidarity movement and operated between 1982 and 1989. Solidarity International initiatives documented in this collection include media campaigns, political lobbying and fundraising, erection of the Popieluszko Human Rights Monument in New Britain, CT, and the donation of a Mercedes-Benz van for Lech Walesa. The collection also includes documents from the International Human Rights Conference in Krakow, Poland in 1988 and Mr. Chotkowski's meeting with Lech Walesa, as well as materials related to his involvement in several American anti-communist or pro-democracy organizations targeting other regions of the world. Materials include correspondence, financial records, press releases, clippings, statements, programs, minutes, audiotapes, video, a medal, and a model of the Popieluszko monument.

Extensive collection of photographs, mostly family, school and social activities from about 1890 until the 1980's, and religious and family memorabilia. Julianna Kirwin, granddaughter of Juliana Trzcinski visited the archives in the Spring of 2023. She wanted to see the collection of photographs and memorabilia, which she then used to create her own art that incorporated photos and other information found in the collection.

Collection contains correspondence in Polish with brief English summary, photographs, and written genealogies. It includes material on the Mik family as well. It covers the years from 1904 to 1987 when the material was donated by Joseph G. V. Maciora (from Boston, MA).

This collection contains of materials related to Krynski's work as a scholar, author, and educator including manuscripts, printed copies of his articles, drafts of translations, conference papers, research notes, notes from trips to Poland, outgoing/incoming correspondence with Polish writers, scholars, and editors (both in Poland and in the US). Furthermore, it includes memos, letters, and notes related to Duke University's Slavic Department and documents of Krynski's political activities such as correspondence, memos, fliers, position papers, news clippings, interviews, and speeches. Also included is a set of transcripts from Jozef Wittlin's Radio Free Europe literary program broadcasted between 1955 and 1966 from New York.

The collection contains published works by Michael Alfred Peszke, including materials documenting the activities of the Polish American Congress, Connecticut Division and the establishment of the Polish Studies Program at Central Connecticut State University. It also contains a memoir written by M. Peszke documenting his earliest recollections from Poland, World War II, living in England after the War, attending medical school in Dublin, and immigrating to the US in 1956.

The collection consists of Mr. Kierklo's memoirs published in the Polish language magazine, Weteran, and numerous articles from local Polish and Polish American newspapers. Also included are books written or co-written by Mr. Kierklo, anniversary pamphlet publications, correspondence, bulletins of local organizations, and information about various political and cultural Polish American events.

The collection covers years from 1914 through 1976 and includes seminary notes and sermons and articles written to various newspapers. A large portion of the collection consists of correspondence and clippings and copies of articles, which illustrate his pastoral and political activities and interest. Materials in this collection were compiled by prof. Daniel S. Buczek, who wrote a biography about Monsignor Skoniecki, Last of the Titans, and published it in 1986. Prof. Buczek donated the material to the Connecticut Polish American Archives (CPAA) in 1987.

Collection includes Msgr. Stanislaus Musiel's correspondence, clippings about him and his SS. Cyril and Methodius parish, anniversary publications, and a large collection of family and parish photographs. A large part of the collection consists of personal papers of his sister-in-law Mrs. Zofia Musiel Boniarczyk and her husband Karol Boniarczyk. Also included are records and personal papers of Zofia's siblings, Wanda Kazowska and her brother Jozef Kazowski. Collection covers the years 1904 to 1988.

The collection documents the activities of the Polish American Arts Association in Washington DC area from 2000 till 2009. It contains minutes, treasurer reports, correspondence, flyers, and anniversary pamphlets covering these years. Newsletters were removed from the collection and placed with the Polish-American periodicals collection within the Connecticut Polish American Archives (CPAA). The collection also contains the American Council of Polish Cultural Clubs convention program booklet from June 14-18, 1967, which was hosted by the Polish American Arts Association of Washington DC. Other related material to various social events and related documentation is also a part of the collection.

The collection contains the constitution (1932) and financial and tax records from the Polish American Citizen Club from 1947 to 1964. It also includes membership applications and information from 1939 to 1956 and an insurance policy from the years 1947 to 1956.

The PAHA archives consist of material related to the establishment of the association, their constitution, and by-laws and amendments. It includes material from conferences, executive directors' meetings, and extensive correspondence with well-known scholars in the field. Material includes information on membership, finances, various publications, and an extensive collection of clippings and documentation for various projects. The collection is chiefly in English with a small percentage of material in the Polish language.

The material contains minutes of meetings, newsletters, financial statements, and scrap books in addition to several photo albums documenting club activities from 1976 till 2003. The large portion of the material relates to the 40th Annual Convention of ACPCC, organized and hosted by the Polish Cultural Club of Greater Hartford in 1988. It includes also preparation material, convention programs and extensive reports and DVD's from performances at the convention.

His parents' naturalization papers from before his birth are included, but the bulk of material is within the dates of 1934 to 1983. Besides some medical records from later in his life, there is nothing included that relates to his death. Collection consists of two foldres with material related to church controversy during Rev. Paul Wysocki's appointment as a Pastor of the Sacred Heart church in New Britain, Connecticut. Remaining folders are related to a cemetery controversy, consisting of correspondence with church officials and attorneys for the defendant Paul Wysocki and the plaintiff the Grygorcewicz family. Material covers years 1983-1994. Two scrapbooks contain variety of material related to the church, immigrants in New Britain area and previous pastors of the church that cover years from 1916 till 1994.

Collection includes extensive correspondence, reports and memos from the coordinating office in Brussels, press releases, various Solidarity publications abroad, clippings, pamphlets, and information about contacts with other Solidarity groups and offices abroad. It covers the years that the Solidarity Office operated, from 1981 through 1990.

The collection contains correspondence, legal and financial documents, minutes from meetings, pamphlets, clippings and posters related to the Connecticut chapter of Solidarity International. It also includes position papers published by various organizations. The collection was donated by attorney Richard Kosinski, one of the members, and covers years 1979- 1995.

The bulk of the material relates to Stanislaus A. Blejwas presidency of the PAC CT. This collection includes material before and after Dr. Blejwas' tenure as District of Connecticut President. Material consists of correspondence, photos, meeting agendas and minutes, newsletters, and newspaper articles. The dates range from 1982-1991.

The collection consists of material related to the establishment and activities of STUDIUM from 1975 until the mid 1990's, documented by correspondence, minutes, membership, treasurer reports, publications and position papers. It includes articles and historical essays on the history of Poland, economy, and current political situation in Poland the Eastern bloc. It also includes records of the Polish American Congress and records of other organizations of which Mr. Mostwin was a member.

The collection consists of Mr. Wawrowski's personal papers, memoirs and documents related to imprisonment in the Dachau concentration camp. Also included are documents from his stay and work in administration of the Displaced Person's camp and his immigration to the US and further activities in Polish American organizations in Hartford and New Britain area in Connecticut. Collection contains of photographs from Dachau after liberation and from his family that was left in Poland - wife and son.

This collection consists of personal and professional papers of Thaddeus W. Maliszewski (notated as TWM in finding aid). There are personal correspondence, official documents, reports, photographs, newspaper clippings and pamphlets relating to his life, organizations he participated in, politics, and his career practicing law. Some organizations include the American Council of Polish Cultural Clubs (ACPCC), Polish Legion of American Veterans (PLAV), Polish American Congress (PAC), The Polish Cultural Society of Palm Beaches (PCSPB), The Pulaski Legion of American-Polish Veterans and Auxiliary of Lake Worth, Inc. and others. Included is also plentiful information about Poland, Polish culture, and Polish- American life in Connecticut and throughout the country. The collection spans from approximately 1935 to 2004.

The collection consists of minutes, correspondence, social announcements, scholarship information, photographs and history of the Club. The collection also includes memorabilia from the Polish Open Invitational Golf Tournament, one of the club's fundraising activities, donated by Alex M. Rudewicz. Material in the collection covers the years from 1939 untill 2001 although the club continues its activities till today.

The collection consists of administrative records, which includes correspondence, minutes of meetings, bylaws, programs, membership lists, clippings and photographs. Financial records include fundraising campaigns, donations, bequests, bank statements, list of donors, and related documents and correspondence.

Collection consists of personal and organizational correspondence, anniversary booklets, and pamphlets. Since the Boguckis' actively participated in activities of many organizations, their papers include broad documentation of activities of organizations such as, Polish Intercollegiate Club (PKM), Polish Heritage Society of Philadelphia, Polish People's University, Polish American Historical Association, and several others. There is also a large amount of news clippings from various events in the Philadelphia area from the 1930's till late 1990's. Mrs. Bogucki was interested in preservation and teaching of the Polish language, therefore the collection has many pamphlets and publication related to language instruction.

The collection consists of correspondence, minutes, newsletters, programs, pamphlets and photographs documenting club activities. It includes extensive collection of clippings related to club activities and other activities related to Poland and Polonia on the local and national level.

Materials in the collection cover a wide range of activities of the PNH from 1917 to 2015, and come in a variety of forms, with most materials from the early to mid 20th century. Administrative and general correspondence, financial records, scholarship information, minutes and reports, membership lists, pamphlets and publications, newspaper clippings, photographs, and posters. Language of materials is roughly half in Polish and half in English.

The collection contains constitutions, by-laws, loan and tax booklets from the various social groups. There are two of badges from two of the social groups: Legion of the Free Polish Krakusy, and the Thaddeus Kosciuszko Society.

This collection contains information about The Polish National Catholic Church, Rev. Francis Hodur, other clergy members, correspondence and research done by Walter Lasinski, individual PNCC parishes in the United States, defunct parishes, and the first Polish settlement in the U.S. at Panna Maria, TX. The years range from 1900-2010.
