Collections

The Jeff Feldmann Photographs Collection consists primarily of photographs of the University of Hartford campus and sporting events. The collection also includes other university related photographs, correspondence, and memorabilia.

Jennie Esther Warner graduated from Danbury Normal School in 1917. The collection includes some of her texts and notebooks from her time at the DNS and Danbury High School.

This collection contains items from members of the Jennings family of Fairfield as well as items from various family businesses spanning 1756-1987.

The papers document Jen Yu-wen's (Jian Youwen) research and writings on the Taiping Rebellion (1850-1866) and General Feng Yuxiang. The papers include drafts ofThe Taiping Revolutionary Movement, correspondence, articles and clippings.

The Jerauld A. Manter Papers contains Manter's personal photographs, documents relating to his work as a UConn entomology professor, and personal correspondence.

Scrapbook containing newspaper clippings and photographs concerning Jeremiah Driscoll's activities with Royal Industrial Union (Local 937, UAW-CIO) of Hartford, Connecticut, public concerns of evictions of families from housing projects because of their "over-income", unionization efforts in Connecticut businesses, and state politics.

Correspondence during his terms as Attorney General of New Hampshire (1802-1805), as a senator in the United States Senate (1813-1817), and as a representative in the New Hampshire House of Representatives (1820-1824). The correspondence also reflects his activities in private practice and in local issues, such as the Dartmouth College Case (1818-1819). The correspondence, which is largely political, reflects the issues of the times, among them Aaron Burr's activities, the Tripolitan War, the War of 1812, the presidential elections of 1816 and 1824, the embargo and the tariff. Among the correspondents are Nicholas Biddle, David Daggett, Rufus King, William Plumer, Benjamin Tappan and Bennett Tyler.

Revolutionary War era business and commisary records.

The Jeremy Reed Papers document the writing of Jeremy Reed and include drafts of poetry, prose and translations, notebooks containing poetry drafts, correspondence with David Gascoyne, Kathleen Raine, Enitharmon Press, and others, and a small amount of contractual material related to the publishing of Reed's work. The papers include holograph drafts and printouts of most of Reed's writings between the early 1980s and 2007. Most of the drafts are corrected and accompanied by correspondence with editors.
