The Grace Mott Johnson Papers are comprised of correspondence, writings, photographs, and personal papers, which document the personal and professional life of the American artist Grace Mott Johnson. The Papers reflect Grace Mott Johnson's involvement in civil rights and involvement in the N.A.A.C.P. The papers also include material pertaining to Grace Mott Johnson's ancestors, including her father Alfred Van Cleve Johnson and grandfather Ebenezer Alfred Johnson. The most prominent correspondents in the papers are Johnson's son Alfred Dasburg and husband Andrew Dasburg.

This collection consists of material created and accumulated by Grace Schulman during her career as a poet, editor, and educator. Material includes writings, personal papers, correspondence, photographs, audiovisual material, and printed material, documenting the creation of several of Schulman's published volumes of poetry and her edition of The Poems of Marianne Moore (2003), as well as individual poems she published in numerous magazines.

This collection contains the final written projects of 63 students who were candidates for the Master of Music or Master of Musical Arts degree in the Yale School of Music from 1961 to 1971.

The records consist of copies of correspondence; a press release; remarks by Howard Lamar, acting president of Yale; and printed material and photographs. Also included is biographical information on Cleanth Brooks, Gray Professor of Literature at Yale from 1947-1975.

The records include the files of deans Wilbur L. Cross (1916-1930), Edgar S. Furniss (1930-1950), Hartley Simpson (1956-1961), John Perry Miller (1961-1969), Donald Wayne Taylor (1969-1975), Jaroslav Jan Pelikan (1973-1974, acting dean and 1975-1978), Keith Stewart Thomson (1979-1986), Thomas Applequist (1993-1997) and Lynn Cooley (2014-present).
