Substantive correspondence with Fukien Christian University students and administrators and extensive diary entries document the operations of a Christian university and the way of life of a single woman missionary in China. Eva Asher worked as treasurer and administrative assistant at Fukien Christian University, a Protestant mission-supported university in China, from 1923 to 1950.

Eva Belle Mason (Mrs. Henry Knowlton) graduated from Connecticut Agricultural College in 1900. The collection contains her notebook from her Sewing class and the dress she made to wear to Commencement.

The collection contains the research and publications of Evan Hill, journalism professor, and head of the journbalism department, at the University of Connecticut from 1965 to 1984.

The papers consist of correspondence, writings, legal and financial material, congressional papers, family memorabilia, and other papers of various members of the Evarts family of Vermont, Boston, and New York. The principal figures, however, are Jeremiah Evarts (1781-1831), author, editor, lawyer, and philanthropist, and his son, William Maxwell Evarts (1818-1901), lawyer and statesman. The papers of Jeremiah Evarts relate to his work and writings on Congregational orthodoxy, his travels for the American Board of Foreign Missions, and his efforts on behalf of American Indians. His correspondents include family members, fellow members of the Yale Class of 1802, and many well-known clergymen, lawyers, statesmen, and missionaries.

The Eve Arnold Papers contains her photographs, contact sheets, negatives, slides, transparencies, diaries, film production files, correspondence, writings by and about Arnold, printed materials, and ephemera that document her career as a member of the Magnum Photos cooperative. In addition, the collection contains audiovisual materials including motion picture film, videocassettes, sound recordings, and computer media.

Correspondents include her Donne collaborator George R. Potter and his wife Mabel; friend and fellow Donne scholar Helen Gardner; and Mary Holtby. Writings include research notes, drafts, typescripts and proofs of most volumes of the Sermons edition; and drafts and typescripts of scholarly articles on Donne's work.
