The archives of Alexander Petrunkevitch, accumulated during his time at Yale.

Contains letters from Pope to various people, including John Conduitt, Robert Craggs Nugent, and Jonathan Richardson; a holograph draft of Pope's translation of the first 48 lines of Book 8 of Homer's "Iliad"; a holograph inscription for Jonathan Swift's grandfather's tomb (with holograph notes by Swift); and an album (formerly owned by John Murray) that contains material by and about Pope.

Letters from personal friends and famous people concerning Twombly's work as minister, author, president of the Yale Alumni Association of Boston.

Correspondence and papers of Alexander Stewart Webb which detail his personal, military, and academic activities. Webb's military service at Fort Pickens, Florida; as a member of the Army of the Potomac, and with General George Meade during the Civil War is documented, as is his tenure as president of the College of the City of New York.

The papers contain correspondence covering Evans' tenure as curator and curator emeritus of the Eaton Herbarium and other botanical collections and primarily concern collecting and identifying species of lichens, mosses, liverworts and other plants.

Alexandra Darrow was a photographer who lived in Woodbury Connecticut in the mid-1900s. She and her brother, Judson Darrow, ran a successful photography studio and specialized in photographing artist's work. The collection is largely composed of black and white photographs of Naum Gabo and his artwork and Clare Leighton and her artwork. In addition to the photographs there is a small amount of correspondence from and about Clare Leighton, as well as one small print by Leighton.

Notes, manuscripts, and transcript copies of Alexandre Polovtsoff's (1867-1934) writings after his emigration from Russia in 1918. Included are autobiographical materials, articles on Russian art, the imperial palaces, and Russian historical figures; also, translations of the Journal de Voyage en Russie by Francisco de Miranda, and The Curse of Wit by A. S. Griboedov.

Correspondence and account books relating to Reed's activities in Batavia, Netherlands East Indies, as a representative of Paine, Stricker & Company of Amsterdam, a trading company. Correspondents include his wife, Caroline Suzette van Son Reed (1825-1861); the Band, Cramerus, Hasselman, van Alphen, and van Braam families, to which he was related by marriage; and Cramerus & Company, Amsterdam. Includes material relating to service and charitable projects in which Reed participated.

Correspondence, writings and photographs by or about Alfred Austin. The correspondence consists of 14 letters from Austin to various people,and over 140 letters to Austin or his wife. The writings consist of holograph drafts, typescripts, and proofs of poems, playscripts, and notes by Austin. The photographs consist of portraits of Austin and views of his estate, Swinford.

The records consist of the administrative files of Alfred B. Fitt documenting his role as special assistant for community and alumni affairs.
