The following finding aid is a complete inventory of the contents of Osborn c357. This list was reformatted from previously existing cataloging.

16th (Sixteenth) Regiment Orderly Book (2011-88-0) is a collection of orders for the 16th Regiment of the Connecticut State Infantry. Three items are inserted in the front of the volume. The first is a Regimental Order from Col. Joseph Birge Jr. and William E. Dickinson (Birge's Adjutant) to Ezra H. Churchill. Folded with this order is a slip of the enrolled men of the regiment from October 10th, 1843. The thirditem is a second Regimental Order from Dickinson. The volume contains orders for the regiment to assemble for inspection, exercises, and drills. There are also charts for organizing the number of men or there supplies. Some charts list the names of everyone in the regiment on one axis and one the other list supplies such as swords, muskets, bayonet, cartridges, fife, etc and note how many of each item each person was assigned and a total at the bottom of the page.

The 17th (Seventeenth) Regiment Orderly Book (2011-89-0) was maintained from May 1, 1816 to Sept 3, 1827. The book contains general rolls which start May 1, 1816 and end May 7, 1827. The rolls list every member of the regiment that year, when they joined, and reason for removals from the regiment. There are a few orders at the end of the book.

The records consist of material from the Corporation Search Committee for the Selection of a Successor to President A. Whitney Griswold.

The collection contains programs, announcements, photographs, scrapbooks, minutes, by-laws, biographies, history booklets, publications of the Connecticut Chapter of the national education organization.

The collection contains administrative records, correspondence, notes, publications, media contacts, student and faculty activity information, biographical files, departmental communications, news releases, published/distributed campus-wide communications such as UConn Chronicle, UConn Advance, Announce-L, and Daily Digest, from 1979 to present.

Collection consists of mounted black and white and color reproductions of modern African, Australian, European, and Asian architecture. Content varies from original photographic prints to reproductions from magazines and other published sources. Some sections have accompanying clippings folders.
