Writings, correspondence, and course-related materials document the academic career of prominent New Testament scholar Wayne A. Meeks, who taught in the Religious Studies Department at Yale University from 1969 until his retirement in 1999.

These records document the administrative and program history of the National Student Christian Federation. The NSCF was a Protestant Christian federation of denominational student movements, the Interseminary Movement, and foreign and home mission boards from Protestant churches. It was also the United States member of the World Student Christian Federation, and a related movement to the National Council of Churches in Christ in the U.S.A. The organization was created in 1959 when the Interseminary Movement, the Student Volunteer Movement for Foreign Missions, and the United Student Christian Council merged into one organization with the goal of creating an ecumenical community of concern on the college and university campus. These records include correspondence, meeting minutes, and reports illustrating the work of the NSCF.

The Margaret Farley Papers include materials relating to Farley's career as a Christian Ethics professor and her research, writings, and course materials relating to subject fields such as sexual ethics, history of christian ethics, medical ethics, and more.

These papers relate to Gwen Coventry, an Australian nurse, who worked as a Chistian missionary for Regions Beyond Missionary Union and the United Mission to Nepal in northern India and Nepal between 1959 and 1980. She served first as a hospital nurse in northern India and Tansen, Nepal, then as a community health worker in Bojha, Nepal, and finally as the director of the Community Health Programme for the UMN in Palpa District. She helped develop a structure of distributed rural dispensaries and traveling nurses, as well as founding agricultural programs as part of an increasingly holistic community development vision.

Correspondence, writings, pamphlets, notes, and other records document the activities of Alice Hageman, a social activist, attorney, and Presbyterian minister.

The Council for Ecumenical Student Christian Ministry (CESCM) was founded in 1987 to "in order to create new opportunities for involving students and campus ministries in the work to rebuild an ecumenical student Christian ministry in the United States." This record group contains material related to predecessor organizations and administrative files from CESCM from its inception in 1987 to 2000. The CESCM grew out of the National Ecumenical Student Christian Council (NESCC), which was preceeded by the National Ecumenical Student Conference (NESC) and the National Interim Committee (NIC). It has a relationship with global ecumenical student organizations through affiliate membership in the World Student Christian Federation.

These materials represent the official archives of the International Association for Mission Studies from its formation through 2012. IAMS is an international, inter-confessional, and interdisciplinary professional society for the scholarly study of Christian witness and its impact in the world. The association was inaugurated in 1972 at Driebergen, the Netherlands. From 1972 to 2012, IAMS held thirteen international conferences on five continents.

The University Christian Movement was an ecumenical student Christian organization in the USA that existed between the years 1966-1969. The UCM was the successor to the National Student Christian Federation. It was the U.S.A. member of the World Student Christian Federation and a related movement of the National Council of Churches of Christ in the USA. UCM sought to be a student movement that would unite the academic community through social action. The organization dissolved in 1969 due to a lack of program direction and an inability to define itself.

This collection documents the thought and work of William H. Poteat, a Yale Divinity School graduate who taught at Duke University from 1960 to 1987. The material was gathered by Walter B. Mead, who contacted former students and colleagues of Poteat, asking them to provide writings and correspondence of Poteat that document his contributions to the field of philosophy of religion.

The archives of the World Student Christian Federation Europe Region include administrative records, minutes, financial records, and documentation of conferences, workshops, and projects such as the Theological Project, Women's Project, Refugee Project, and East European Language and Leadership Training Project (Lingua Franca).
