The Edward Taylor Collection contains nine volumes of autograph manuscript writings, including poems, sermons, notes on divinity, and commonplace books; and fragments of writings, correspondence, and other materials removed from bindings of these volumes. Some volumes include autograph manuscript ownership inscriptions and other annotations by Taylor's son-in-law Isaac Stiles and grandson Ezra Stiles.

The Edwin J. Beinecke Collection of Robert Louis Stevenson contains correspondence, manuscripts, personal papers, and research files by, about, and relating to Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson.

The E. F. Benson Papers consist of writings, correspondence, and business and financial files, documenting Benson's fiction-writing career and spanning the years 1894 to 1929. Writings consist almost entirely of drafts, most corrected, of short stories by Benson, his novel Paul (1906), and an evidently unpublished and untitled novel written in 1906. Among the short stories are two of Benson's most celebrated "spook stories," "The Superannuation Department AD 1945" (1906) and "The Thing in the Hall" (1912). Other papers include correspondence, sales and royalty statements, contracts, bills, and receipts that document Benson's business dealings with his literary agency (the Authors' Syndicate, Ltd.) and various publishers.

Letters, photographs, and newspaper clippings pertaining to air pilot E. Hamilton Lee, 1912-1994. Includes a photograph album containing 380 black-and-white photographs, 132 loose photographs, and 14 negatives of Lee, aircrafts, air pilots, and aerial views, 1912-1974, undated. Photographs are accompanied by manuscript notes on envelopes or versos. Also present are a scrapbook and loose newspaper clippings documenting Lee's career, 1920-1971, undated. Clippings focus primarily on Lee's time with the United States Air Mail Service Division of the U.S. Post Office Department, but also reference his service during World War I and later career as a commercial pilot. Letters in the collection are addressed to Lee from peers and fans, 1923-1993. There are also membership cards, loose notes, passports, pins, and magazine articles. Accompanied by a wooden box.

The Eleanor Clark Papers consists of writings, correspondence, and other materials documenting the life and work of the writer Eleanor Clark.

The collection consists of correspondence, literary manuscripts, printed materials, and personal and family papers documenting the life of Elena Wilson and her work as literary executor of Edmund Wilson. The bulk of the collection dates from 1972-1979, after Edmund's death; also present are a small amount of early papers and documents of Elena's family. Series I, Correspondence, includes letters from Edmund Wilson, letters of condolence received after his death, and correspondence concerning Elena's work as his literary executor. Correspondents include Leon Edel, Daniel Aaron, Simon Karlisky, and Vera Nabokova.
Series II, Writings, contains materials pertaining to Letters on Literature and Politics, including drafts, proofs, and an extensive file of photocopies of letters written by Edmund Wilson. Also present are drafts of "My View From the Other Window," an essay by Elena Wilson describing her experiences living with Edmund in Talcottville, New York; writings about Edmund by others; and a memoir written by Elena Wilson's aunt, Marie Struve, describing her early life in Russia before the 1917 Revolution.
Series III, Subject Files, includes biographical material about Edmund Wilson and lists of his writings. Series IV, Personal Papers, contains calendars, passports, and other legal documents. Series IV, Family Papers, consists of legal documents and biographical information about the families of Elena Wilson's parents, Georg Hermann Mumm and Olga Struve, and her first husband, James Thornton. Series VI, Helen Miranda Wilson Papers, contains documents pertaining to Elena Wilson's death, with notes made by Helen Miranda Wilson, daughter of Elena and Edmund Wilson.

The collection documents Elinor Langer's research and writing of the biography Josephine Herbst: The Story She Could Never Tell. The collection contains research files, correspondence, photographs, sound recordings of interviews, printed material, and other papers.

The papers and films document the friendships between Elizabeth Fuller Chapman (1893-1980) and several writers and artists, most notably Alice B. Toklas, Gertrude Stein and Thornton Wilder. Letters in Box 1 date from 1932-1976. Printed material in Box 1 includes theater programs, clippings on Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas, and interview notes and transcripts from the filming of the 1970 documentary by Perry Miller Adato, "Gertrude Stein: When You See, Remember Me." The films in Box 2 are three reels of black and white 16mm motion picture film, duplicates made in 1982 of the original 16mm footage. One film, titled "Winter Parties," contains footage of parties at Chapman's home in Chicago between 1934 and 1935, and includes a scene from a 1934 holiday party with Gertrude Stein, Alice B. Toklas, and Thornton Wilder. The other two films, titled "Lectures," were made by Chapman during trips to Paris between 1934 and 1938. The films were used during Chapman's lectures. Scenes feature notable artists, writers, dancers, philosophers, and gallerists, including: Pedro Pruna, Constantin Brancusi, Gertrude Stein, Alice B. Toklas, Pablo Picasso, Colette, Thornton Wilder, Henri Matisse, Georges Braque, Marcel Duchamp, Igor Stravinsky, Nicolas Nabokov, Francis Poulenc, Salvador and Gala Dali, André Derain, Chick Austin, Christian Berard, Leonide Massine, Bernard Faÿ, Mary Garden, Louis Marcoussis, and Edouard Vuillard.
