This collection contains every issue of the University of Hartford's English Department magazine of student writing, Aerie from 1996 - 2017. The collection also contains a few notices pertaining to submission guidelines.

The collection consists of the artwork, papers, and photographs of Alan Tompkins during his career as an artist and teacher from the 1930s to 2007. Tompkins artwork in this collection consists of a wide variety of mediums including drawings, sketches, studies, as well as final versions of illustrations, prints, paintings, pastels, and watercolors. These works vary in style and subject matter. His papers consist primarily of his writings which consist of journal entries, notes, and his written thoughts on art and art education. His papers also include some lectures, speeches, research materials, publicity materials, correspondence, as well as items pertaining to his work and family history. The photographs in the collection are often of his artwork. These include photographs of works in progress in his studio and completed murals. However, there are also personal photographs of Tompkins and people who were close to him.

The collection contains Trainer of Trainers Research Literature Papers submitted to the Association Montessori Internationale.

The collection consists primarily of documents pertaining to the United Nations Conference on International Organization held in San Francisco, CA in 1945. The materials are primarily in English, but there are copies of documents that are in French. Most of the documents are from the conference, but there are also notes taken by Atwood Collins, as well as memorandums to/from Atwood Collins during the two-month conference.

Collection contains documents collected by Bess Graham Educational Secretary of the Hartford YWCA regarding the History of Mt. Holyoke and the establishment of the Hartford Junior College. Contents span from 1939 to 1970.

This collection contains newspaper clippings, event planning and promotional materials, meeting minutes, membership lists, correspondence, general financial records and reports, and a number of foundational documents for Brothers and Sisters United (formerly the Black People's Union and AASA). This collection mostly spans from the early 1970s up to the early 2000s with a handful of documents from the early 2000s up until 2018.

The collection consists of banners signed by each class at the University of Hartford, starting with the Class of 2002 through the Class of 2019.

The collection contains the records of the College of Arts and Sciences regarding its faculty, staff, and departments. Materials include administrative records, photographs, newspapers, letters/memo, advertisements, flyers and brochures, faculty records, and other related media are included within this collection. These records originate from 1939 to 2021. The bulk of the records are from 1960 to 1990.

The collection consists primarily of subject files including annual reports, accreditations and self-studies, public information, correspondence, histories, buildings and facilities records, and some material about individual faculty members. The collection also includes photographs and videotapes.

At this time, the majority of the collection consists of records pertaining to the creation of the University High School of Science and Engineering. This includes designs for the physical space, as well as plans for, and evaluations of, the curriculum and operations of the school. The remainder of the collection is rather small and currently includes only a small number of photographs and a subject file pertaining to CETA.
