Begins: I was so deeply blest!
The ms. was addressed by S. M.
d'Ossoli to John S. Dwight in 1838.
It was intended, but did not appear
in Dwight's Select Minor Poems,
Boston, 1839.

Written on a discarded leaf of a letter
to Goethe, one side already had been
used by him for jotting down some
notes. The text is almost
indecipherable.
