Contains an undated (and likely very early) draft script for the Sam Peckinpah-directed film. Adapted from a Jim Thompson novel, this screenplay was written by Walter Hill. The story is set in Texas and concerns an ex-convict and his wife (played by Steve McQueen and Ali MacGraw in the film) who end up on the run after a heist goes awry.
