Series X comprises miscellaneous materials, including complete copies of all official documents pertaining to Paul Hindemith's appointment to the Yale University faculty, his leave of absence to lecture at Harvard University, and his resignation in 1953. Other folders in this series contain duplicate Christmas cards and holograph scenarios for two unproduced ballets: The Children's Crusade" and "The Parable of the Blind," prepared for Leonid Massine and George Balachine.
