The Plaut correspondence contains letters, notes and postcards from many famous musicians and composers. Some of this correspondence includes requests for copies of photographs as well as notes complimenting Plaut on his skills as a photographer and a sound recording engineer. Because Fred and Rose Plaut were part of New York City's musical social life, other correspondence includes invitations to social events and responses to Plaut dinner party invitations.
