Series III, Correspondence, consists of letters written by Silas Reed to members of his family, including his wife Henrietta Maria Rogers. The letters written by Reed to others are usually drafts or copies. The family correspondence includes letters to members of the Reed and Anthony families from friends and relatives in the East and letters of the Anthony family written between 1890 and 1893, after the death of Dr. Reed.
