This series contains the professional correspondence of Rudolph Dunbar. Letters regarding Dunbar's music performances such as those at the Royal Albert Hall and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra are in this series. Many letters from British parliment member Robert Allan also document Dunbar's trials in securing steady work as a music conductor in a field that included few people of African descent.
