Series I consists chiefly of incoming correspondence, though files occasionally include notes or drafts of outgoing correspondence. The files are unsorted and include both personal and professional correspondence with colleagues, family members, and organizations, relating to Ron Whyte's writing, the production of his dramatic works, and his work as an activist; to broader cultural and literary events and topics, especially as they relate to the New York City area; and to personal, financial, and medical issues.
