Arranged alphabetically, the series consists of biographical material, correspondence, financial records and memorabilia documenting the personal life of Robert R. Young and his family. The bulk of the series is comprised of correspondence to and from Young that is arranged alphabetically. The correspondence includes a substantial number of letters from his daughter, Eleanor, that span twenty years and document her life as a young socialite. A few letters from Young to his daughter are also included. One folder of general correspondence is listed at the beginning of the section, and one folder of correspondence related to Young's 1947 trip to Texas is listed at the end of the section.
