Autograph manuscript signed, and manuscript signed, 4 pages, folio, double column; consisting of the first draft of the Wethersfield "Propositions" nos. 1 and 2 in the right hand column of pages 1-3 in the hand of a secretary, signed by Rochambeau; Barras' replies, in his autograph, signed at end, in the left hand columns, pages 1-2; and rough drafts, heavily corrected, in the handwriting of Rochambeau, of Propositions 3-5, on pages 3-4.

Bound in marbled boards (part of spine missing and some parts of front cover). Spine height, 20 1/2. Inscribed on flyleaf: E/332 [crossed out]/333.

There are thirteen maps, one folding, bound together in marbled boards. The front cover is inscribed: Cartes des antilles. The spine height measures 21 1/4 inches. The flyleaf is inscribed: E. The first map in this group (LES ANTILLES) is inscribed E/337. This volume is in a light blue cloth box case with a black leather label on spine lettered in gold: LE ROUGE/MAPS OF THE/ANTILLES, BERMUDA, AND/VIRGIN ISLANDS/1779. The spine height of the box-case is 23 1/8 inches.
