Vorturini," and his pleasure in
sightseeing in the Alps, at Lake
Como, and in Milan and Pisa. The
second, dated, 1839 Nov 1, discusses
sightseeing in Naples, Pompeii and
Herculaneum; an ascent of Mount
Vesuvius, and impressions of the
Neapolitan poor.
