Records consist of correspondence, meeting minutes, memos, budget report and statement, deposit slips, and vouchers. Of note are the files for the legal aide scholarship NSCF gave to students who were arrested because of their involvement with the civil rights movement. Most of the Budget and Finance Committee records start around 1962-63. The three organizations that merged to form NSCF kept separate budgets at first, but by 1963-64 funds for programs were being used across commissions.
