Series III consists of materials from organizations that Johnson was either an active participant in or a founder of. These organizations focus on organized labor, anti-war and peace activism, living wage initiatives, healthcare, and prison reform. The materials document daily business within the organizations, with a few specific campaigns pertaining to healthcare reform, bus stop locations, and financial security for low-income families. Materials include newsletters, minutes, agendas, pamphlets, fliers, newsclippings, and photographs.
