This portion of the collection consists of an extensive amount of drafts and manuscripts of and files relating to Larry Kramer's writings, including plays, screenplays, and books. Also found is correspondence, printed material, notes, and other files, stemming from Kramer's film work in the 1960s and 1970s, his AIDS advocacy and activism from the late 1970s to the present day, his AIDS-related research, and other professional activities. There are also some personal and family papers. This portion of the collection originated from Kramer's apartment in New York City.
