Personal and correspondence files consist mostly of John Perry Miller's correspondence with fellow Yale faculty members. There is one folder at the beginning of the series of biographical materials, including Miller's curriculum vitae and his own biographical sketches. The remainder of the series comprises correspondence which is arranged in two sections: topical and individuals. The topical section is arranged alphabetically; the individuals section is arranged alphabetically by last name of correspondent.
