The series consists of a set of volumes in which Percival recorded his schoolwork, his poems, the books in his library, his expenses for trips taken, and notes on a variety of topics including linguistics. Prominent among them are his notes on the geology of Connecticut (which complements material in Box 3) and item number 420, which records of his dealings with his publishers.
