Vintage prints (approximately 5850), chiefly measuring 8 by 10 inches, made directly from the original negatives soon after their capture, usually on fiber paper. These prints usually have inscriptions by Morath and Magnum Photos staff, including captions, notes, crop marks, numbers, and ink stamps. Most of the early prints bear the photographer's name and/or copyright stamp, a title or other captioning, and the story number.
