These boxes contain artifacts and books that were donated with this collection, and are described in the CHS archival spreadsheet under collection #3303.000 - .100. larger artifacts are displayed in the Strong Porter Museum, Carpenter Shop and Barn, or are stored in the East Storage Room.

These are diaries, ledgers, account books, travel diaries and correspondence records of the Freeman, Pierce, Loomis, Smith and Hutt family, ranging from 1855 - 1965. They include details that provide a picture of rural life in Coventry, as well as genealogical and biographical details about a family that contributed in many ways to their community.

The Victorian Photograph album belonged to S. Noble and Louise Loomis and includes their parents J. Otis and Caroline(Storrs) Freeman and Charles and Frances(Edgerton) Loomis as well as many other family members. There is a very rare photograph of the home of Charles and Frances Loomis which was later destroyed by fire. The collection also includes the earliest known photo of the home of S. Noble and Louise Loomis at 1747 Boston Tnpk perhaps taken about 1886 which includes the family (two of their small children are in the photo, the men are wearing top hats). Thereafter photographs of the family are sporadic and often not of great quality. Professional wedding photographs of Sylvia and Thomas McKinney and Clara Hutt and school photos of Priscilla and Bruce Hutt help document the family. Oversized photographs of the McKinney Farm, Clara Hutt's Wedding photo and the ceremony honoring John Hutt's college graduation and his WWII Service can be found in box 9.
