Consists of 72 photographs; a collection of seventy-two views of pre-1914 Hungary, of which fifty-seven are by Vágó and the remainder by other photographers from Budapest. Many of the scenes are from areas of the Austro-Hungarian empire now part of Czechoslovakia, Romania, the Soviet Union, and Yugoslavia. In addition to landscapes, views of towns, and stretches of railroad track, there are pictures of peasants in local costume and gypsies in their encampments.
