Series II, Writings, contains drafts and research materials for articles, plays, poems, short stories, speeches, and biographical works. Hagedorn wrote a number of books on Theodore ("Teddy") Roosevelt and served as Secretary and Director of the Theodore Roosevelt Association, and there are four boxes of materials relating to Roosevelt and the Association.
