The papers consist of letters, legal papers, notes, clippings, and miscellaneous papers concerning New York vs. Hagbard Ekerold, 1909-1914. Ekerold refused to let his son be vaccinated. When the boy was denied admittance to school, Ekerold was charged with violating the Compulsory Education Law and fined $5 in the City Magistrates' Court. Weinberger appealed the case three times, but the decision was upheld.
