This series consists of material generated by the writing of Syz's articles, books, essays, reviews and research reports, and are arranged into three sections: published writings, unpublished writings, and data records. With the exception of the data records, which were used in the preparation of several published and unpublished papers, the materials used in the research and writing process are included with the manuscripts to which they relate. This material has been arranged to follow as closely as possible the order in which it was produced (e.g., notes followed by drafts, typescripts and revisions). Syz's writings on ceramics are located in Series VI.
